I have checked the problem using the HTML from your E-Mail in a
JSFiddle, here is the link:

I was able to record the elements. I am using the default
CustomWebResolver mappings for GWT. Perhaps you have changed something
in your CustomWebResolver, you should check there. Also if you still
cannot find the problem, please send your test-suite with the
CustomWebResolve mappings to support@?.de.

P.S. Once the fields can be recorded you may use check mode, fetch text
node etc.
