[QF-Test] configuring the client PC, Oracle driver issues

  • Subject: [QF-Test] configuring the client PC, Oracle driver issues

I recently reimaged a number of PCs that run QFTest.

All are Win7 x64 systems

All have the same version of the Oracle client installed.

These are the same versions as used in a system I did not rebuild.

Problem is, QFTest on all the “new” machines refuses to acknowledge the presence of the Oracle driver and throws an error saying Oracle jdbc driver not found.

I can test my database connections to the table QFTest is to connect to within Windows and it works fine. Only QFTest has a problem with the driver.

Why it works on three older machines, and why it worked in the past on these 6, but doesn’t now after having to reimage is confusing me.

Any thoughts?
