Hello,

if those algorithms are used at 'Check image' nodes, you can resize the actual image to match the size of the expected image. The optional parameter 'resize=true' is described at the chapter provided in my last email.

If you want to use those algorithms for image based tests you cannot use the resize functionality because it would scale the whole screenshot to match the dimension of the target image.

Image based tests are based on the 'find' parameter which provides image-in-image search to find an expected image within a (larger) image. This feature is also available for 'Check image' nodes, c.f.:

Best regards,

     Michael

Interesting... Does the API allow for scaled images or does the image have to match exact dimensios?

Hello,

currently QF-Test does not support automation of Adobe Flash applications the same way as of "normal" Web applications.

There is a nice feature available since QF-Test 3.5M1, which allows to replay events anywhere on the screen based on complex image comparisons.

QF-Test tries to find the target component by using an advanced imaged check algorithm. Please have a look at the package 'autoscreen' of the standard library qfs.qft as well as the documentation available at:

https://www.qfs.de/include/qfs_pkgdoc/qfs_pkgdoc.html#qfs.autoscreen

Those algorithms (also available for image checks since QF-Test 3.3) are tolerant towards certain image deviations. To get more information about them please see:

Subject: [QF-Test] Qf-Test and Flash

Hi,

Sorry if it was asked before, but

I wonder if is it possible to automate Flash based apps (or maybe just flash menus, etc) via Qf-Test?

Thank you very much in advance and sorry for dumb question),

Andy
