Hello Clement,

the 'resolvers' module is only available at 'SUT script' nodes and thus a resolver is always running at a defined SUT context.

Every 'SUT script' node has a 'Client' attribute which describes the client process in which to execute the script.

That means you have to launch the client at first and afterwards register all necessary resolver in its context.

If you have multiple clients you have to register the resolvers for each client.

To avoid redundant code you could place those resolvers at a 'Procedure' where the 'Client' attribute is a variable

which gets expanded to the respective client when the procedure is called e.g. from the setup dependencies.

Subject: [QF-Test] How to handle name resolvers with multiple clients?

Hi all,

I want to add name resolvers for multiple class in multiple clients.

Actually there is only the name resolvers of my 1st client launched that work. The 2nd and other clients launched are not taken into account by the name resolvers.

Here is the code:

"resolvers.addNameResolver2(class, getClassName, class)"

With getClassName:

"def getClassName = {

                Component comp, name -> QFTTools.renameComponentsAttributes(comp)

Are the name resolvers attached to a specific client or are they global to all?

1) If they are attached to one client:

                * How to specify which client is concerned?

2) If they are global:

                * How can I handle my multiple clients?

                * Are the name resolvers active if the clients are not already launched ? It will be useful to declare all the resolvers and then to launch all the clients.

I hope my explanations are understandable.

Best regards
