Re: [QF-Test] Logging QFS results

Hello Vlado,

this is indeed a bug in QF-Test 3.4.9 and previous releases. To overcome the problem, add the file extension for the run-log (.qrl or .qrz) explicitly, for example

 qftest -batch -calldaemon -runlog c:\.logs\+b.qrz ...

Best regards,

I have noticed strange behavior when logging test results under Windows.
This is what I do:

 I start QFTest daemon on remote computer. Next I call it with:

qftest -batch -calldaemon -daemonhost xx.yy.zz.ww -daemonport 12345
-runlog c:\.logs\+b -suitedir \\test\users\qft mytestsuite.qft#.

Now the funny part: As log result I get XML file (without extension)

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?>
<!DOCTYPE RootStepLog>
<RootStepLog ....> ...

But when I change the "-runlog" path so it doesn't contain dot (eg.
c:\log\+b) and repeat the test, as log result I get binary file (.qrz
extension) which I can open and analyze in "QF-Test".
Can you explain this behavior an possibly propose a workaround (possibly
other than not to use dot in log path :).
