Hi Alice,

I think this mailing list would serve the suggested purpose well
enough if we had a convention for assigning keywords to the respective
postings. There were some user contributions in the past, but it is
difficult to find them even with the full text search because the most
likely keywords are getting too many hits.

On the other hand we have seen that there are only a handful of
long-term contributors to the mailing list outside QFS. The vast
majority of mailing list users are readers and some occasionally ask a
question.

So if we were to introduce some other kind of forum or a repository
for scripts and libraries I'm afraid we might see a short surge of
interest that would ebb soon while on the downside it might lead to
fragmentation of the active user base.

Still, concrete suggestions are welcome.

Regarding your suggestion about configuration management: It's
planned, but it's hard to tell when it will happen. Ideally for
QF-Test 3.5, but it might have to wait for 4.0.

Best regards,
    Greg
