[QF-Test] Transition from Java SUT -> Web SUT

  • Subject: [QF-Test] Transition from Java SUT -> Web SUT

Our SUT is java application and on specific event (button "New Mapping Block" pressed) SUT launches internal web browser to perform the web based configurations.

Upon launching java application from QF-test to record the session the last recorded event is the "Mouse click" on the button "New Mapping Block".
QF-test cannot see any further interaction with web browser launched from java app.

Question: Is there any way to attach QF-test to the internal browser started from our java app SUT ?

Question: Can QF-test somehow intercept SUT call to launch internal browser to gain control over the session ?

We've noticed some subtle differences when the browser is launched via our java application and when its accessed directly via the web that’s why were interested in this rather than just launching another web based SUT.
