Hi Mohit,

for adressing sub-items of a tree you can also use dynamic sub-adressing of nodes.

If you want to click at "/home/mjuneja/testcase/qt_SpecxCompTB_1" you address this node like this:

1.) Via full text:
tree@/\//home/mjuneja/testcase/qt_SpecxCompTB_1

2.) Via regular expression
tree%/\//home/mjuneja/testcase/.*SpecxCompTB_1

3.) Via index of nodes
tree&/0/0/0/0/0/1

I the folder name "qt_SpecCompTB_1" is variable you put this value into a variable and use this variable for addressing the sub-item, e.g. tree@/\//home/mjuneja/testcase/$(foldername)

Please have a look in the manual at chapter "7 Sub-items of complex GUI components" or <http://www.qfs.de/qftest/manual/en/user_subitems.html#usec_subitems> for details.

Best Regards,
Martin
