Hi Adrian,

there is always the standard answer: Simply assign names to the menu
items and you will prevent all future problems.

Another good option is to create a name resolver to assign names
dynamically, especially if setting names in the source code is not possible.

Also updating menu items should work from the "Windows and components"
nodes' context menu, even if the menu is not open.

Finally, a trick could be to check the "regexp" attribute in the menu
item component node. This will also prevent the menu to be re-recorded
if only the structure info has changed.
