Re: [QF-Test] How to check component-state in a if/while-Statement

Hi Claudia,

the easiest way to implement such an iteration is to implement an "endless"-iteration which contains a check-node for the state of the checkbox. If the check-box isn't selected anymore an exception will be thrown. This CheckFailedException should be caught and then a break can be performed to leave the iteration.

This looks like this:

while (true)
	try:
Check-Selected Node --> select box "throw exception on error"
		Press reload button
	catch CheckFailedException:
		break

Due to performance reasons, I suggest to add some seconds to the delay-after value click on the reload-button.

Regards,
Martin

Hi all,

I need to pause the execution of a script as long as a check-box element
is in checked-state. To see if it's still checked, I need to perform a
reload.

How can I do this with QF-Test ? I would like to do something like:

While (see if checkbox is in checked-state)

            Wait 10 sec.

            Press the reload button

Continue execution...

What I couldn't find out is how to check the state of the checkbox (or
any other component) in a If- or While-statement-node ?

Many thanks for help,

Regards,

Claudia
