Hi Amit,

why don't you use the "psql" script from PostgreSQL for database

Using this tool enables you, doing database manipulation steps from
command line.

Sample Call:
	"psql -d <database> -c <sqlcommand>" or "psql -d <database> -f
<file with sql statements>"

I suppose using this tool would be rather easier and faster than
starting up the UI of PostgreSQL.
The integration of this command into qftestJUI as
ExecuteShellCommand-Node is easy, as Karl-Heinz has mentioned already.

Yes, that should be possible.
If you create a shell script for login to postgress and empty the table,
this script e.g. can be executed via a "Execute Shell Command" node.
Please see manual chapter "15.6 Processes" further details.

There are different features in qftest to support you in working with
data tables.

 - A "Check Items" node (15.4.2 Check items) may help to check an
entire data
 - A "Fetch Index" node (15.5.2 Fetch index) helps to resolve the index
of row
   containing certain data.
 - Row and Column count can be retrieved be using an SUT script node
using the
Java table methods getRowCount() and getColumnCount().
