Hi Gregor,

Thank you so much for the quick reply.

Pressing F12 while the tooltip is open is a good trick.. a bit tricky to record in time, but it works.

I also found another solution to recording the tooltip... I send the component a MOUSE_ENTERED event (written in Groovy), and then the toolbar is displayed stays up for ever, letting me record it without worrying it might disappear!!

Best Regards
Moira

Hello Moira,

have you tried the following?

- Open the tooltip by moving the mouse over the target

- Press the check hotkey ([F12] by default, configurable in the
  Recording options)

- QF-Test now blocks mouse and key events on the SUT, but it cannot
hold the timer so you may need to be quick when recording your
  check(s).

- For replay of the check(s) you need to ensure that the popup becomes
visible first. To do so, please record a mouse click on the target
and manually change the event to type MOVED with modifier and click
  count set to 0.

In case that does not work we'll need to look at this in more detail.
In that case please get in touch with me directly.

Best regards,
    Greg
