[QF-Test] component naming

Hello,

I’m relatively new to working with QF-Test and web solutions.  In starting the automation of a new solution many of the components(Id, Name) are recorded as below.

“WebPartctl_ctl_g_c_afd_cd__eedfb”

“ctl_ctl_g_c_afd_cd__eedfb_ctl_AreaDropDownList”

I’m hopeful there is a way with a simple resolver to make them a little more clear.  I did spot one DIV node in the component tree that is only “ctl_ctl_g_c_afd_cd__eedfb” as the Id, Name, and Feature.  This makes me worried that searching for the string and simply removing it may cause issues with that DIV node.

Regards,

Chuck
