Hello Ghazale,

your Java code produces

... -runlog /"P:/./testprotocol/"^%%b-report.html^%%p
"P:/./testprotocol/test" ...

which is different from your batch file and moreover looks like nonsens.
What do you actually want with the ^%%p behind the -report.html command
line switch? Do you want to specify two output directories? This doesn't
work.

Here is an example code to create contents for a batch file:

String sTestFileId = "00008";
String cmd = "qftest -batch";
cmd += " -runlog \"H:/temp/test protocol/\"^%%b";
cmd += " -report.html \"H:/temp/test protocol/test\"";
cmd += " \"H:/qf-test/" + sTestFileId + ".qft\"";

If you want to create the report in the test-suite directory, you can use
the option

-report.html ^%%P

in your batch file.

Best reagrds,
   Robert

Hi,

In my java program I wrote a command line which should do the job of a
Batch file. But I have difficulties to run it.

My Bach file works as standalone perfectly. But integrated in my program
I get exceptions???

(Batchfile)

qftest  -batch  -runlog /"P:/./testprotocol/"/^%%b -report.html
^%%p"P:/./testprotocol/test"  "P:\...\qf-test\00008.qft"

my java program take the program name out of a csv data and put it in the
right place to be executed:

(Java)

.

.

String cmd = "qftest  -batch  ";

cmd = cmd + "-runlog /\"P:/./testprotocol/\"^%%b";

cmd = cmd + "-report.html^%%p \"P:/./testprotocol/test\" ";

cmd = cmd + "\"P:\\...\\...\\...\\...\\...\\qf-test\\" + sTestFileId +
".qft\"";

System.out.println(cmd);

.

.

I have pasted the screen shot too.

It's a little bit tricky with the "/" ??? :-)

Thanks for your Help

Ghazale
