[qftestJUI] Jython Exception Handling

Since we do our own logging separate from qftest’s built in log, I’m trying to do all the error handling in a Jython Server script similar to this:

    try:

        rc.callProcedure(“Procedure Name”, None)

    except UserException, (errMsg):

        rc.callProcedure(“Log Message”, {“arg”:”Test Failed: %s” % errMsg})

In each of the procedures I have Try-Catch statements that trap any errors and then throw UserExceptions with the error message. My problem is that these exceptions are not being sent back to the Jython script, they are being handling by qftestJUI. I suppose creating the Try-Catch structure as nodes in qftest and then just having Jython script as an error handler in the catch node would work, but is there any way to handle errors in procedures inside the Jython script that called them?
