AW: [qftestJUI] fail to connect to SUT VNC viewer

Hi Kui Wang, Hi everyone,

I have a similar problem. When I run the tests out of eclipse the connection works fine, but when I try to run the tests through the exe (though the j2re is instrumented in QFTests) the software starts but the test stopps at the first node "Warten auf Client". Trying to execute any other node will throw a clientNotConnected, but starting a client with the same name will resut in "A client $(NAME) has already been started"

I guess this is a result that our SUTs use a different than the standard event queue. When I terminate my SUT (running from eclipse) it throws a EmptyStack Exception from the event queue.

Is this the / a possible reason?

Yours,
Ilango

Betreff: [qftestJUI] fail to connect to SUT VNC viewer

Hi,
Using demo as a new user, I invoke the SUT application VNC viewer using the node Start SUT Client, but the action of "wait for client to connect" always fails.
the setting is the below:
    Client: VNC
    Executable:E:\tools\realVNC4\vnc-4.0b4-x86_win32_viewer\vncviewer.exe
    Directory:E:\tools\realVNC4\vnc-4.0b4-x86_win32_viewer
    Parameters: none

    OS is Win2000,JDK1.4.1

the error output messages in run-log is in the following:
de.qfs.apps.qftest.run.ClientNotConnectedException: Client 'VNC' did not connect.
You may want to check your JDK instrumentation.

     at de.qfs.apps.qftest.run.AbstractRunContext$Runner.run (AbstractRunContext.java:5343)

please hlep me whether what I do is supported by qftestJUI or not. if supported, how to do it?
Thanks,
          Keen
