Hi Kevin,

You may call the procedure qfs.shellutils.copy [1] in order to copy the pdf file first. You can use <path>/${qftest:runid}.pdf [2] (or something
similar) here in order to get copy the file to a unique location ... Then terminate/close the "Adobe Acrobat Reader" process (see below). And
then delete the original pdf file via the procedure qfs.shellutils.deleteFile [3].

Terminating a process:
Windows:
You can close a window via the procedure "qfs.autowin.close" [4]. In most cases this terminates the process too.
Linux/Mac:
If you only have one opened "Adobe Acrobat Reader" process (or if you want to close all opened adobe readers), you can run a command like:
killall -9 adobereader
via an 'Execute shell command' node [5].

Greetings,
    Yann

Hi,

Currently I am testing verifying the contents of printed pdfs using QF-TEST 4.2.2, and I’ve tried to call qfs.autowin.acrobat.savePDF with
“overwriteExistingFile” set to true, but it prevents me from deleting the existing pdf file because It’s already opened in “Adobe Acrobat
Reader DC”,

So if I want to save one opened pdf to a different name and then close the opened pdf tab (with the different name) within “Adobe Acrobat Reader
DC” so that it won’t prevent me from deleting the existing pdf file when I re-run the test,

how can I do that?

Thanks in advance

Kevin
