[QF-Test] Which AJAX toolkit do I have to use for web application Cognos R2R?

I am developing an automation for the Cognos Tool R2R (ready to report)
Can I use any AJAX toolkit for this application?
In general: How can I see  if a AJAX toolkit can be used or not?
