Title: Running the same scripts more than once simultaneously.

We have a fairly lengthy set of scripts (c. 3.5 hours) that we want to run, overnight, on what is essentially the same software, but at different build stages.

Currently we're working on two stages.

When running them simultaneously, is there a risk that they will interfere with one another?  We've set the 'client' name in the script, when we start the client under QFTest, to be hard-coded, so it is the same for both.  Should we instead make this a parameter, and have it set differently for each separate test version, to ensure the simultaneous runs are kept strictly separate during execution?   We don't want to maintain numerous versions of the scripts themselves, for all the obvious reasons.

Do you have any other pieces of advice for doing this kind of thing?  (We really need to run simultaneously since, in the not too distant future, we will have 4+ levels on which to run tests, so if we try to run consecutively we will run out of time to run overnight).
