Hello Hans,

I guess image checks are not what you're looking for in this case.

They are useful to check against a well-defined image, like an icon in
a table cell or a button. If you're rendering text or Swing components
the result will indeed depend on look and feel and many other things
(even including graphics drivers). In that case it is preferable to
use scripting to check against some inherent value.

I'm sure Martin will be able to suggest a solution during his visit.
