Hello Eoin,

QF-Test does handle both MessageBox and FileDialog, though it cannot
access any of their components because they are implemented natively.

When you record interactions you should get a "File selection" event
for a FileDialog with the file you selected and a "Selection" event
for a message box with the "Detail" attribute reflecting the button of
choice as described in the manual.

If that doesn't work for you I need details about your setup including
operating system and JDK version, your test-suite, a run-log and a
detailed description of where the process fails.

Best regards,
    Greg
