EKS is using kVASy test automation: QF-Test and SIV.AG

Swiss energy company EKS ensures software quality

To ensure its software quality the power station of the canton Schaffhausen AG (EKS) is using the kVASy test automation software. This testing solution from SIV.AG is based on the praxis-proven tool of its partner Quality First Software GmbH and ensures professional creation and execution of automated acceptance tests via the familiar kVASy surface.

“With our new tool we benefit from the deep knowledge of SIV.AG and its partner Quality First Software for automating complex test procedures.”, says Edgar Brändli, manager IT of the EKS. Arthur Aebi, manager IT support and operation EKS, especially appreciates the saving of time and resources. “Even extensive tests now have a very short operational time compared with manual execution – with a large range of individual analysis possibilities, individual analysis options and any number of times repeatable. We can focus on our core business due to coordinated, weekly running tests by the outsourcing.”

SIV.AG is successfully using the practice-proven tool of its partner Quality First Software GmbH in-house and on-site.

Marian Jacobs, division manager Management Operations of SIV.AG stresses the verified quality of the tool: “We also apply the tools and test modules for our own regular system tests. With Quality First Software GmbH we found an internationally experienced, reliable partner that focuses on high software quality and process orientation.” More than 1,000 companies already have their software solution QF-Test in productive use, among them the 10 biggest IT service companies in the world.
