Hello Jiede, There's almost no difference between the local browser and the embedded IE in QF-Test. The embedded browser also uses the settings made in the local browser. There are only some minor tweaks to optimize testing, so that no confirmation dialog is popping up during the tests: - allow navigating between https and http pages are automatically bypassed. - allow mixed content - popup blocker is deactivated - allow to start files/programs in iframes - allow download of signed activex elements - allow submit unencrypted form data - don't warn for invalid site certificates - allow usage of limited protocols and active content - don't warn when switching security zones - don't warn on form data post redirect In addition to this you can set the proxy, locale and compatibility-mode settings separately for the embedded browser. QF-Test provides some procedures for this in it's standard library - qfs.qft.
