Re: [QF-Test] QF-Test: Question about opened external windows

Hi Justyna,

you can simple check for the existence of those windows and close them
using the procedure qfs.autowin.checkForExistenceAndClose from the
qfs.qft library.

There you need to specify the expected window title, e.g. "Adobe.*".
The procedure will look for that certain window and close it. If the
windows cannot be detected you will get an error message.

Best Regards,

I’m using QF-Test for testing some documentation/drawings archiving
environment. One of options used during test scenarios is to open
documents or save searching results to file. For this reason some
windows opened by external tools like Excel or Adobe appears.

And here comes the question: is there any possibility to close from
QF-Test these external windows? Any script or something? Because after a
whole test suite many “scratch” is left.

I will really appreciate your answer and help!

Vielen Gruessen,

Justyna Lisowska
