[QF-Test] 'if' condition for string

  • Subject: [QF-Test] 'if' condition for string

Hi,

One of my co-workers discovered that in a string comparison in a ‘if’ node can be written:

‘$(strVar)’ == “whatEverString”

Instead of:

rc.lookup(“strVar”) == “whatEverString”

like it is recommended in the technical manual.

As I didn’t find this in the book, tell me your opinion about this and is this error prone?

Thanks
