[QF-Test] Flash support for QF-Test?

  • Subject: [QF-Test] Flash support for QF-Test?

Hello,

We recently started testing and creating test automation cases for a web application based on Flash technology. As currently QF-test (3.5.2) does not support recognition of UI components in Flash-based web applications, we have done some test cases with QFtest using captured images (using clickAtImage procedure in qfs.qft file). However, we would like to know if you have any plans for implementing support for testing Flash-based web applications in future QFtest version? Using clickAtImage procedure is quite slow when executing test cases. In addition, if even small changes are done to UI of the application, new images need to be captured for test cases to work. Therefore we need support for Flash-based applications.
