Hello Marko,

for QF-Test the situation is unchanged - it needs the embedded browser
to interact with it.

Maybe it's possible to modify your application so that a special
command can be injected to launch the browser when selecting the
"Start application" menu, e.g. by setting a system property.

You could then set that property via an SUT script at runtime and
normal behavior would not be affected. If your developers are willing
to implement that and you need further info, please contact our
support directly.

There may be an alternative way if your application relies on starting
the system's default browser. We could look into temporarily
overriding that, at least on Windows. We haven't tried that yet so I
can't tell how difficult that might be.
