Re: [QF-Test] Passing wrong variables to procedure
Hi Peter, there is currently no such feature in QF-Test.I agree with you, that such a checking-parameter-feature would be helpful for building a well-structures test-suite for business people. On the other hand the current mechanism is pretty flexible from a developers point of view, who are used to scripting languages like Jython.
Nevertheless I put it on my analyzer-feature list, but this will be implemented after the 3.4.0 release. There are even more such ideas on the feature list as completing the parameters of a call automatically once a new parameter has been introduced. But everything after 3.4.0.

Hi, is there a way to get at least a warning when I pass wrong variables to a procedure? By "wrong variables" I am referring to variable names which are not defined as parameters for the called procedure. While I am still trying to get a full grasp on QF-Test and structuring the automated test for a rather complex application this is still a constant source of errors for me. So all measures to help and support me in keeping my test consistent would be extremely helpful.
