[QF-Test] Graphical Recording Pattern

  • Subject: [QF-Test] Graphical Recording Pattern

I’m trying to record a test. The test is a graphical one. I‘ve a toolbar from which I select “component” and I drop them on a “window”. I connect these components with “arrow”. Notice that QFTest can only see the “window” as the dropped objects are drawn.

I==============I    I===============I

I  ComponentA  I----I  ComponentB   I

I==============I    I===============I

Above ComponentA , the arrow , Component B are drawn.

The Sequence is registered fine, and replayed fine.

But If a resize the window and replay the sequence my test does not work anymore , because the events are recorded with the location (X,Y) of each components.

What kind of recording pattern should we used in order to avoid such behavior?

/Chabane
