Re: [QF-Test] running Qftest on server
Hello Ghazale, it's not that simple to execute a program on a remote host. You need some kind of remote control to do this, like ssh or VNC. Please ask your network administrator to provide such a means. Another possibility to run a QF-Test test-case on a remote host might be to use the QF-Test daemon. The QF-Test daemon is a running QF-Test instance on a (remote) host which is listing to commands from client applications (see chapter 28 "Daemon mode" of the manual for information). Hi, I have a requirement, where I could be able to run a batch job on a server. This is my batch file which I could run on my Local: @echo off qftest -batch -runlog /"P:/testprotocol/"-%%y%%M%%d/^%%b-%%r "P:\qf-test\0xx.qft" -The qfs tests are on shared folder on server. Now, I want by clicking my batch file on my local computer, it runs the qf-test on server from shared folder without needing to log to it. How should I give the path? I know it is difficult to explain. Please ask if you still didn't understand me.
