[QF-Test] How to set password in a login dialog

  • Subject: [QF-Test] How to set password in a login dialog

Hi all,

I have an application which displays a logon dialog on startup. I want this logon procedure be part of my test, but don't want the password be readable in my QFT file. In other words, the test sequence should fill the logon dialog, and send the credentials to the server (whatever). My problem is, that the password is in a readable form in the QFT file (and of course, in qftest GUI). Is there a way of "encrypting" or "hiding" the password, or a similar way of preventing of other testers from knowing my password (suppose I'm going to show my tests to other testers).

I've tried to search the archive, but haven't found an answer so far.

Thank you in advance,

Rado
