The IndexNotFoundException might be caused by a incosistant (or faulty)

I have a list which has one column set as a JCheckbox. The test script
tries to tick that checkbox in order to perform an event. I check the
state of the checkbox before actually try and select it. I keep getting an
IndexNotFoundException on the node where I check for the sleceted state of
