Hi Louise,

The log-file shows that the whole menu can't be determined, so I don't
think it has something to do with the variable-expansion.

Is it possible that the menu is created dynamically?
This could take some time and QF-Test will fail, if the menu hasn't been
loaded at QF-Test's default timeout. If that's the case, you should add a
"wait for component" node after opening the menu or increase the
default-timeouts.

Regards,
Martin

Hi

I need some help. My script fails sometimes in recognition of a specific
list element. I must have a bug somewhere but I can't find it. It looks
to me as if the variabel is expanded exactly as it should, but it still
cannot find the correct element. I tried both the list@$(variable)
syntax and the syntax where $(variable) is referred as primary index.
But it still fails. If a record the component and replay without using
variables it works fine. I've also tried to change the recognition
options but it does not seem to make any difference.

I send a copy of my runlog and script. Hope somebody can spot the
problem. As you can se it does not fail everytime?

Regards,
Louise Kelstrup
