Hello Hans,

To highlight a Swing component during check or component recording,
QF-Test swaps its background and foreground color. It makes sure
that when recording is turned off, no component remains in this color
changed state.

However, I have seen custom components that do not react well to this
color exchange and end up looking different than before, just as you
describe. For such a case you turn off component highlighting with the
option "Record->Highlight components when checking".

Best regards,
