[QF-Test] Help regarding reading values from Properties file

  • Subject: [QF-Test] Help regarding reading values from Properties file

Hi,

My Property file:-

Switches.3232 = ['172.31.11.181',]

My Server Script

print ${device:Switches.3232}[0]

My Server Script Output:-

172.31.11.181

However, when I try to call a procedure and pass a variable called deviceIP and substitute the value to it under the variable definitions like this

Variable definitions

Name                Value

deviceIP            ${device:Switches.3232}[0]

It expands as "['172.31.11.181',][0]" and is passed as variable to the function instead of the expected 172.31.11.181.

Is there a straight solution to overcome this issue?

Please help.

Greetings,

Alfred
