I already tried to remove the cache dir but the problem was still there. Folder is writtable and there is enough free space on the filesystem (about 27 GB :). I don't have problems with other JARs but only with this specific one.
Any new hints?
I don't know why Jython sometimes has problems with its package cache,
but every now and then somewhere something goes wrong and it goes into
Try removing the entire cachedir directory and create a new, empty
one, ensuring that it is world-writable. Does that help?
One unlikely cause that you may still want to check is whether your
filesystem is running full.
