Hi Bill,

Normally you can only use setName for the JTabbedPane itself. 

I know that in your case you have closable buttons that you are
naming, which should be fine.

Tha tabs as such cannot be named with setName, but you can implement
an ItemNameResolver to override the tab indexes that qftestJUI uses by
default.

Can you explain in more detail what you are looking for?
