Hi Joe,

I guess the main question here is one of Focus. Which component is the
target of the PRESSED/PTR/RELEASED events? If it's not a text
component qftestJUI doesn't normally force it to have focus. The
event should still reach the target component but the FocusManager may
not notice and I don't know how the listener for the shortcut is

So you may need to combine the shortcut with some sequence that
ensures focus either by clicking on a component or entering some text
in a field.
