Hello Joe,

take a look at teh batch script that starts the JBoss server. Is the
command that actually launches the process preceded by "start". In
that case the process will be decoupled and qftestJUI will not be able
to kill it.

Even without start it may be difficult because Windows process group
handling doesn't necessarily kill the child process if the parent is
killed. qftestJUI only has control of the process for cmd.exe which
executes the bat file, not the child processes started by it.

Don't you have any external means to stop the JBoss process? If
there's a start script, there might be a stop script as well which you
can execute from qftestJUI.

As for you other questions: There's no way to write to STDIN, but
STDOUT is available as ${qftestJUI:clinet.output.<name of client>}.
Search the mailing list output for "process output" and you'll find a
lot of information about this, e.g.

Best regards,
    Greg
