Oops - not my day. Forget what I just said.

"Break on _uncaught_ exceptions" is the option you should activate and
"Break on _caught_ exception" should not normally be used. Did anyone
ever have a use for the latter (I did, but that doesn't count :-). By
now I think it causes more trouble than it's worse and it would be
better to remove it altogether.
