It's not on the agenda. There are too many commercial custom
components out there to handle them all individually. If there's a
JPVEdit in your application, you should have an API reference for it
and be able to use Jython scripts to do just about everything you
want, like

- change values
- read values
- map internal structure to geometry information which can then be
  used for relative mouse events

E.g. you can create a text check like

edit = rc.getComponent("id of JPVEdit")
contents = edit.getText() # or whatever method it has
expect = "whatever you expect"

rc.check (contents == expect,
          "!Bad JPVEdit contents, expected %s, got %s" % \
              (expect, contents))


The developers involved in integrating the edit into your application
should be able to help you.
